6 Tips to Lose that Unwanted Fat

Let’s face it. We love food. We love the way it releases all these flavors and satisfaction once we bite it. We love how easy it is to forget our problems once our mouths are busy munching on fries or burgers or pizza and our stomach’s satisfied. Food is love. Food is life. Food is something so easy to love and appreciate because it’s an instant way to relieve whatever negative feelings we have.

But too much of food can be bad. Once we’ve eaten more than enough and once we realized that the calories we take are too much and not an hour of exercise was used to burn the extra calories, we get fat. We get sick. We get unhealthy and all of a sudden we can’t zip our jeans because there’s just too much belly fat blocking the way.

Surely, we want to eat what we want and remain a healthy life. Here are 6 easy steps to lose the unwanted fat we’ve been dying to get rid of.

Write what you eat.

It’s simple. Get a diary and start listing the food you eat. Studies show that people who list down what they eat reduce their calorie intake by 15%. It’s easy and memorable and it gives people the initiative to eat less.

Drink lots of water.

Instead of drinking carbonated drinks or fruity drinks, stick with water. Water contains no calories and is an instant relief because it hydrates the body. Remember what we’ve been told since we were young? Drink 8-ounce glasses of water everyday.

Eat less protein.

Instead of going for meats that contain high calories, try choosing fruits and vegetables instead. It’s healthy and it’s accessible. Brown seaweed has contains fucoxanthin that contains fat-burning qualities. Aside from that, fucoxanthin has anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, and anti-cancer effects.

Start taking the stairs instead of the elevators.

The Centers for Disease Control says that’s all it takes to help you shed as much as 10 pounds a years by simply choosing to walk instead of waiting in line for the elevator.

Avoid white foods.

Bread, sugar, and rice are the main things you should avoid when you want to lose weight. Although rich in carbohydrates that give us a lot of energy, too much bread or rice or sugar is bad because it isn’t easy for the homemade laxatives. Instead of going for the white food, go for whole-grain breads and brown rice. A study showed that those who ate more than two daily servings of whole grains were 49 percent less likely to be overweight than those who constantly ate white stuff.

Make sure to get most of your calories before noon.

Studies find that the more you eat in the morning, the less you’ll eat in the evening. If you eat more in the morning and less on the evening, you’ll have more opportunities to burn off the early-day calories rather than the late night dinner calories.

There are a lot of possible ways to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle but the best way is to have a growfit and exercise.
